At Dolphin Kick we have had time to reflect over the last few months and decide what direction we would like to take the company. When lockdown first happened, we were amazed at the photographs being shared on Social Media of Dolphins swimming in Venice waterways. How clean the water was. Lockdown gave us an opportunity to slow down and reflect on what is happening to our beautiful Planet.

When we started to open up and our customers started reaching out to us, what was evident was that you were all feeling very similar. Slightly nervous by what was happening, just in case we were all whipped back into another lockdown. Gradually as time goes on confidence has grown.

The last year or so has hit some of us harder than others and this and the environmental challenge’s is really what has led us to decide to try and do the right thing.

We are setting up a Recycling Service, a Trade in as it were. You send us your old Dolphin Kick kit and we send you money off your next purchase. If in an acceptable condition, we sell it on at a heavily reduced price and donate the profit to a children’s charity, still to be selected and 25% will be reinvested to help Dolphin Kick develop more sustainability initiatives. . As far as we can see it’s a win win situation. We help the planet and you at the same time.

Like most things it is not that straight forward and there are lots of logistics to work out, we have launched the service as a pilot, just for the Team Trisuits, but hope to be able to extend this to our whole range by the end of 2021.
